An evening of speeches and discussion on the intellectual pedigree, personal philosophy and creative work of Jonathan Bowden.
Attendance strictly limited. The venue is disclosed to ticket holders on the morning of the event.
Secure Your Place — £20Jonathan Bowden was one of the most singular voices in British intellectual life — a polemicist, artist, orator, and critic, who was said to be able to explain Heidegger to the man in the pub. His legacy has only gone on to grow after his untimely death and before he reached the audience he deserved.
Bowdenism is an evening for those fascinated by the philosophy behind the speeches. Speakers address his thought — his cultural criticism, his political philosophy, his understanding of European man — and what it means in our present moment. The evening closes with a panel discussion joined by Millennial Woes.
